Understand the tile colors

Rule out the letter, while checking duplicate-letter counts carefully.
Repeated letters can receive different colors in the same row. A green or yellow copy confirms that the letter is present, while a gray duplicate can show that the answer contains fewer copies than you tried.
Make practice more challenging with hard mode
Turn on hard mode before your first guess. It requires you to keep every revealed green letter in the same square and use each revealed yellow letter in a different square in later guesses. This can help you build a consistent solving routine.
