Your guess history

Enter tile feedback

Type a five-letter guess in each row. Tap its tiles to cycle through gray, yellow, and green. Leave unused rows blank.

Enter at least one complete guess to begin.

Color reminder: green means correct position, yellow means the letter appears elsewhere, and gray means the answer does not need that letter. Repeated copies can have different colors in the same guess.

How the Wordle Solver filters words

The tool translates tile feedback into constraints. Green letters are locked to their exact squares. Yellow letters must appear in the word but cannot stay in the square where you guessed them. Gray letters are excluded unless another copy of that same letter was confirmed in the row.

That last rule matters. When a guess contains two copies of a letter but only one is marked green or yellow, the solver knows the answer has at least one and no more than one. It also combines clues across all six rows.

Wordle Solver FAQ

How do I use the Wordle Solver?

Enter each five-letter guess, then tap its letter tiles to set the feedback colors. Green is correct position, yellow is present elsewhere, and gray is absent. Select Find matching words to filter the dictionary.

Does it handle repeated letters?

Yes. The solver tracks the minimum number of confirmed copies and applies maximum counts when a guess has gray copies alongside green or yellow copies.

Does the solver know today’s answer?

No. It only uses the guesses and colors you enter. It does not fetch hidden answers or submit anything to the official game.
