What time does Wordle reset?
The official daily puzzle changes at midnight in each player’s local time. Daily records on this site are organized by the US Eastern date.
Are the daily hints spoiler-free?
The clue text is hidden behind individual reveal controls, and the answer is in a separate section. You decide how much to open.
Can I reveal only one answer letter?
Yes. Each answer tile can be revealed independently. You can also reveal the complete word or hide it again.
Does the guess checker send my word anywhere?
No. The checker scores the guess in your browser using the current puzzle record. It does not submit guesses to the New York Times.
Why can a gray letter still appear in a solver result?
If a guess contains a duplicate letter and one copy is green or yellow while another is gray, the answer can still contain the confirmed copy. The solver tracks minimum and maximum letter counts.
Is the word list an official Wordle answer list?
No. It is a broad five-letter reference list used to filter candidates. It does not guarantee that every listed word is an accepted answer.
